A Meal Made With Gratitude
Twice a year, I have the privilege of planning a special dinner for our church leaders; a small way to say “thank you” for the countless hours they give in quiet, steady service. What began as a simple assignment has grown into one of my favorite acts of gratitude, bringing people together around a meal made with care and appreciation.

A Gathering With Purpose
Twice a year, on the Saturday before our Stake Conference, we gather for an afternoon of auxiliary training followed by a shared dinner. For the past few years, I’ve been asked to plan, organize, and carry out these meals and for me, they’ve become so much more than simply feeding a crowd.

More Than Just A Meal
These dinners are my way of creating a moment of appreciation for all the leaders who serve so selflessly in their various callings. They work quietly and faithfully behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly, to create positive, memorable experiences, and to help strengthen testimonies, friendships, and personal growth within our church community.

A Theme That Brings It All Together
Each meal is planned with a theme in mind; something that ties everything together and adds a little extra meaning and warmth. My hope is that through the food, the atmosphere, and the care put into every detail, they feel just how deeply they are appreciated.

Joy In Every Shared Moment
My heart always feels full when I look around the room and see people laughing, talking, and enjoying a meal together. Watching them relax and reconnect over something I created brings me so much joy and I’m grateful for the chance to offer this small act of service in return for all they do.
